Here at SBO, we believe that the key to producing good work lies in good communication between the laboratory and the dentist. Aside from the details included on the work ticket, we also use email and WhatsApp to provide a more direct and instant line communication to the dentist. Chatting on the phone is great but sometimes it needs a picture to show what is meant and in the world of smart phones, this has become much easier.

Whether it's a judgement call on aesthetics, or a technical issue we are up against, sometimes we need clarification on an issue before we can continue. 

A direct form of communication is very important to us. With the best will in the world, messages left at the surgery are often missed, or a busy dentist will forget to phone us if we have a question about a case. In those instances, delays of two to three days are not uncommon and this can be the difference between work being returned on time, or not.
